Amanda understands it can be hard to take this first step, knowing you may be nervous about entering therapy. She’ll approach you with kindness and hope, and will engage you with humor and grace. You’ll quickly feel supported, comforted, and put at ease.
Amanda understands that you may have traumas and hurts in your life that you need help living with and healing from, and she’ll work with you from a place of understanding and compassion. Within the therapeutic relationship, Amanda will guide you to identify issues, understand and express feelings, articulate and re-frame your narratives, and plan what to do for practical relief in the short-term.
Amanda believes in authenticity. She’ll create an open, genuine, relationship with you, one built on trust. From the safety of this relationship, you’ll find the courage to look within and find the power to change. Amanda believes you have the ability to honestly identify and remove the roadblocks in the way of being who and what you want to be, and she’s here to direct you through the process.
