Elissa has been working with individuals, couples, and families for the past 20 years in a variety of set-tings including residential, outpatient, and corrections facilities. Through these experiences, Elissa has had the pleasure of assisting and witnessing individuals transform their lives and make changes they did not think possible.
In session with Elissa, you’ll feel welcomed to explore your life’s experiences and your relationship concerns. Elissa will skillfully guide you to increase your comfort, to see your world in a new light, and to take actions that improve your life circumstance.

Elissa has a master’s degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. She holds a professional counseling license in both Colorado and Washington. She has worked extensively and is especially skilled in working with adolescents, adults, and families impacted by substance use, legal involvement, and foster care. She has working knowledge of these systems, and in this way, can be an invaluable resource for people navigating these systems. Elissa has been effective in treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. She has years of experience with safety planning and crisis intervention. Elissa also specializes in working with LGBTQ youth and couples. She enjoys tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of the clients she serves. Elissa looks forward to meeting you and helping you work toward your life’s goals and dreams.
