Susie provides support to guide you to a place of well-being, self-reliance, and hope. Susie understands that – sometimes – life can create an experience of uncertainty, confusion, and discomfort. She’ll help you reclaim your innate, individual strengths, teaching you how to maneuver through life’s unexpected challenges and create meaningful resolution.
After all, helping adults, children and families identify their own unique competencies, and overcome adversity, is Susie’s professional passion.
Susie has a wealth of tools to drawn from, ranging from Transformational, Existential, Strengths Based, Solution Focused, Multi-Systemic, and Play Therapies. She also incorporates practices such as mindfulness to help with overcoming grief and loss, as well as trauma recovery.
Susie has 12 years of counseling experience guiding clients through spiritual crisis, trauma and traumatic grief, early childhood issues, developmental and transitional life stages, parenting, and major mental health challenges. Susie has worked in wide array of places and with a diversity of cultures, and has grown in her respectful admiration for people’s ability to heal and inspire others.
Susie received her BA in Clinical Psychology from Stephens College and her MA in Counseling Psychology from Southwestern College.
