I create a nurturing environment where you’ll feel supported, at ease, and truly able to do the important work of counseling: Becoming more deeply in touch with yourself and your environment, and developing concrete understanding and skills to use in your daily life.

I’ll walk by your side as you work to overcome symptoms of depression, break through anxiety, resolve difficult times in your life, and/or manage chronic mental illness. As we process together, you’ll more fully understand your own desires and goals for yourself and those who surround you in your journeys.

I work with individuals, couples and family units, as well as any other individuals who will support the client in their work.

I’ve found that some of the most important tools that I can use to help my clients achieve their goals have been the ability to listen without judgement; my ability to reflect to help clients understand their own thoughts and behaviors from the vantage point of someone who supports them unconditionally; and my capacity to reframe old thought patterns or beliefs that are no longer serving the client.

My approach is tailored to each client specifically, and is dependent on their history, their goals, their preferences and their hopes for themselves and their lives. I use relationally- focused integrative therapies and cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients achieve their personal goals.

I have worked in direct client practice for 14 years, and have obtained a Masters in Social Work, and am licensed as an LCSW in Colorado. I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient facilities, intensive outpatient settings, medically assisted therapies, substance use disorder settings, and have worked with individual clients, couples, and family units. I have experience with assessment, treatment planning, diagnosis, individual and group therapy modalities.

It is important to me that client’s know that they are my first priority. I have worked for years to develop a skill set and create an environment for clients to truly share and work toward their goals. One of the things that I value most about myself as a clinician and my practice is my ability to listen and understand without judgement. I’ve found through the years that many clients are able to share information, experiences, and issues with me for the first time because they feel and understand that I am not a person here to judge or evaluate their life choices or actions. I strive to create an environment for my clients that serves as an outlet, and a truly supportive environment to grow.
