You’ll enter a kind and supportive environment where you’ll feel at ease. In partnership, you and Brittany will explore the obstacles you wish to overcome, forge a path forward together, and use a variety of therapeutic modalities and medication supports to heal. Using a combination of humor and caring confrontation, you will have a prescriber and partner on your journey to wellness.
As Brittany’s client, you’ll receive care from a provider experienced in treating individuals with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, substance use, psychosis and trauma related diagnoses at any stage of their life, including pregnancy. Brittany takes a holistic approach to each person’s care in hopes of creating a safe space for you to improve your health and well-being.
Brittany completed her degree in Psychology from Boston University and provided care to clients in the community and their homes. After years of working in a variety of roles, Brittany obtained her Bachelors in Nursing and went on to graduate with honors and her Masters in Nursing from Columbia University.
While completing her education, Brittany transitioned from managing sub-stance abuse research studies at UCLA to overseeing studies and instructing students at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Brittany continued serving as a faculty member for Columbia and Einstein University, until moving to Colorado, where she now precepts students for CU. Gaining experience prescribing both on inpatient units and in outpatient settings, Brittany sought additional training in Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to enhance medication management.
