Chaz understands that your journey through life can become very difficult when circumstances, situations, and relational conflicts cause you to feel confused and uncertain. In those times, you can find yourself searching for answers. As your therapist, Chaz will work with you to find the answers you seek.
Chaz will listen with empathy and unconditional acceptance, and work in partnership with you to achieve what matters most to you.
“I believe in the power of hope to spur profound healing and growth in each person’s life,” Chaz explains. “I work primarily with adolescents, adult individuals and couples. I use an integrative approach utilizing such evidence-based treatments as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR. I am experienced working with a full spectrum of mental health issues and addictions, providing trauma-informed care. I also provide Christian counseling at the client’s request.”
Education and experience
I received a Bachelor of Science from Colorado Christian University in 2013 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the same university in 2016. While in school and subsequent to graduation I worked in the Boulder County Detox, then in a men’s residential treatment program for Larimer County Community Corrections, and most recently in a large community mental health center.
