Daira is gentle, calm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental in her therapeutic approach. She’ll walk alongside you, inviting you to express yourself with authenticity and vulnerability.
Daira understands that beginning therapy, and sitting with a person you have not met before, can be daunting. It takes courage to take those first steps. As a person in this world, you’re already equipped with so many innate tools and ways to persevere. In therapy, we will build upon those natural skills, and also develop a greater awareness of what works for you.
The most important aspects of your work with Daira will be your feeling of safety, the strong therapeutic relationship, and Daira’s attunement to your needs.
Daira views therapy as a transparent process in which the client and therapist continually collaborate. Daira’s training and area of focus emphasizes social justice, and she strives to be inclusive of all people regardless of gender, religion, ethnic backgrounds, age, sexuality, etc. She is currently completing her Master’s degree with Lewis and Clark College with a focus in Ecopsychology.
