When you’re in session with Hannah, you can expect to feel cared for and accepted exactly as you are. You’ll experience her warmth, authenticity, humor, directness, and encouragement. Hannah’s goal is to cultivate a trusting, respectful, and collaborative working relationship with you.
Hannah will work with you to identify what is getting in the way of actualizing a life of pleasure, inner peace, and fulfillment. Through your work together, you’ll overcome those feelings and situations that leave you feeling “stuck” and overwhelmed.
Hannah understands each person she meets with is unique and will use a wide array of tools to support your success. As you move along in therapy, she will promote work on self-compassion, self-worth, self-care, and shame resilience. Working with you to achieve self acceptance is a process Hannah finds to be especially useful.
Hannah received her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in the specialty area of clinical psychology from the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology in Dayton, Ohio. Her practice initially focused on emerging adults in several university counseling centers. She has also worked in an intensive adult partial hospitalization program where she specialized in the treatment of severe eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Hannah has also provided services in various post-acute and long-term care facilities to older adults, people dealing with chronic illness and military veterans.
