Jay brings a depth and breadth of clinical understanding into your therapy, and adapts these to your unique needs. He draws from approaches that have been proven effective, and finds those that’ll be most effective for you. Jay has expertise in helping people resolve issues related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, addiction, trauma, anger, relationship conflict, spiritual disconnection, personal discontentment, and low self-esteem.
Jay earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and dual licensure with the state of Colorado as a Clinical Social Worker and Addictions Counselor. He has been actively working in the mental health field since 2008, much of which in the non-profit community mental health setting. Some of Jay’s experience includes residential counseling for adults, child and family coaching for at-risk youth, university counseling, and individual and group counseling in an outpatient treatment court program.
