Sometimes, we all need to talk. It’s most important to have a friend or spouse we can talk to, but there are times we need someone with whom we can be completely unedited; someone who will not judge; someone who will not be shocked and who will not unfriend us. Sometimes, we all need to talk to a professional counselor.
I have been a counselor for almost 30 years. During that time, I have learned how to balance being both professional and personable, being both mentally engaging and emotionally relaxing, while offering both compassion and opportunities for growth.
I work with adolescents and adults, individuals and couples on a variety of issues from things that have happened to us, things we have done, and things with which we have no control.
I went to Denver Seminary for my education, and I tend to lean toward the cognitive approach clinically with a very compassionate application. In all the years I have been a counselor, I’ve offered care, kindness, empathy, and support to each of my clients. I look forward to offering you the same.
