Kimberly has experience working with individuals, couples and families struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, conduct disorder, oppositional behaviors, bereavement (grief and loss), family system issues, divorce, personality issues, and more.
Kimberly is trained in and utilizes techniques from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); Motivational Interviewing; Solution-Focused Brief Therapy; and Strengths-Based Perspective.
Kimberly holds a Master’s of Science in School and Mental Health Counseling from Butler University (Indianapolis, IN), and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Indiana State University (Terre Haute, Indiana). She is a National Board Certified Counselor (National Certified Counselor-NCC) and has achieved Licensed Professional Counselor status in Indiana, Wyoming and Colorado. She has worked in community mental health, school, and hospital settings in urban and rural areas and has provided clinical services for all age groups.
