Libby’s calm and caring nature will help you feel comfortable and at ease. She’ll create a safe space where you’ll explore whatever’s holding you back, develop skills to overcome what’s challenging you, and examine how newly developed abilities and behaviors assist you in achieving your goals.
Libby’s active listening skills will help you feel understood just as you are. She’ll also provide psycho-education so you can better understand the complexities of your life situation, and will teach you techniques in session that’ll support your growth outside of sessions.
Libby is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), relationally focused integrative therapies and solution focused work. To best support the unique you, she’ll find just the right eclectic blend in her clinical approach.
Libby has an M.A. in Counseling and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has worked extensively with couples, families, and individuals over 12 years of age struggling with anxiety, depression, life stressors, relationship issues, OCD, and much more. Libby has a special interest in supporting LGBTQ individuals and couples.
