He values your voice, and uses your time efficiently and effectively to move you towards your life’s goals.
Matthew knows that you don’t fit into a cookie cutter mold, so he uses a varied approach to construct a tailored treatment plan that is strength-based and person-centered. Matthew will explore how different aspects of your life influenced who you are today, including family, society. He’ll use this understanding to help inform your healing journey. Matthew’s therapy involves Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR along with many of the common treatment approaches. He incorporates clients’ passions into treatment including music, hobbies, values, nature, and even walking if desired.
Matthew graduated from Colorado State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work, after receiving his B.A. in Psychology from Biola University. He has years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds. Matthew’s experience includes work as a first-responder, working with at-risk youth, family coaching, school social work from kindergarten to high school age students, as well as crisis response.
