About Adriana Ramirez, MA, LPC, LAC

Adriana helps her clients overcome many life challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, fears, relational challenges, struggles with substance abuse, low self-esteem and self-confidence, and challenges with expressing thoughts, feelings, needs, and wants. Through active listening, non-judgmental responses, and attentiveness, she creates a specialized treatment plan that is tailored for each client. Treatment plans integrate a variety of techniques to meet clients' needs and personalities, and may include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR therapies.

With a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Adriana provides individual, group, and couples counseling. She's worked in several types of settings, such as community mental health; inpatient, residential, and outpatient substance abuse setting; a crisis center; and emergency departments, county court systems, and county-level departments of human services. She also has performed mental health assessments for the State of Colorado (PASRRs). One of her passions is volunteering whenever possible to raise awareness about mental health and substance abuse.
