You’ll be greeted with warmth and compassion when you meet Alina. You’ll feel safe and seen, and able to let go of fears of judgement. When appropriate, you’ll enjoy the infusion of humor in your sessions and metaphors to build connections. She’ll journey with you as you move toward finding satisfaction in your relationships and life experiences.
Alina assists clients ages 18 to 60 build confidence, define goals and work on overcoming anxiety, poor self-esteem, improve communication skills, and much more. She helps her clients recognize and analyze their self-talk and current approaches by utilizing motivational interviewing and active listening. She offers her clients space to explore themselves and their relationships through a variety of tools, including writing, cognitive rehearsal, and validity testing. Alina draws from solution-focused, CBT-based approaches underscored by person-centered therapy and existentialism, focusing on physical, emotional, social, financial, and career pillars.
Alina earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.
