When you’re in session with Amanda, you’ll feel cared for and understood. You’ll be welcomed into a comfortable atmosphere where you’ll feel safe to share your concerns. You’ll be guided in finding a sense of peace while working through past hurt that’s holding you back from living your most fulfilled life.
Amanda’s clients can learn new skills to overcome many issues related to relationships and life transitions, plus anxiety, depression, and trauma. She uses a range of tools—from active listening to motivational interviewing to psychoeducation about self-soothing, empathetic understanding, and being present. Modalities she leans on include CBT, DBT, and relation-focused therapy.
Amanda is working toward a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has some work experience in a residential treatment setting.
