When you meet with Angel, you’ll be welcomed into a safe, compassionate, and empowering therapeutic space by a kind-natured, empathetic professional who’ll care deeply about you. You’ll be supported as you develop insights, identify unhelpful patterns, and gain the tools you need to create lasting change.
Angel can offer clients assistance with a variety of issues, including general life stressors, anxiety, depression, mental health and co-occurring diagnoses management, relationship issues, attachment, guilt and shame, perfectionism, boundaries, codependency, self-esteem, addiction, and trauma. She utilizes a variety of interventions, including active listening, empathy and unconditional positive regard, open-ended questions, psychoeducation, collaboration, development of autonomy, skills training, and mindfulness. She draws on several treatment modalities, like person-centered therapy, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR.
With Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University, Angel has held a variety of positions within outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient clinical settings. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, continuing her education in psychology, browsing memes, and spending time with friends, family, and her fiancé and their two yorkiepoos.
