Anna’s experience with clients across the life span (age 2+) has offered a meaningful opportunity to witness how our human experiences create the foundations from which we form our self-image, relationships, beliefs, and outlook on life. Whether these experiences occurred on a physical, emotional, social, cognitive, or spiritual level, they are woven together and influence each aspect health. The approaches Anna takes, like Person-Centered, Holistic, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Movement, and Trauma Focused therapies, offer her clients tools to understand how their past experiences may be influencing their current thoughts, behaviors, and choices. Her specialty areas include complex trauma, substance abuse, pain disorders, attachment disorders, identity development, multicultural issues, and psychotic, mood, and personality disorders.
With a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling, Anna has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in crisis centers, an inpatient hospital, outpatient therapy, community, and residential settings.
