Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescent (Ages 9-25)
Anne invites you into a safe space where you'll be empowered and motivated to work on a therapeutic level. Her empathy and understanding will help you feel okay to show up just as you are and to be emotionally vulnerable as you share your thoughts.
Generally, Anne's clients can expect to reach their desired goals—emotionally, mentally, and holistically. Specifically, they can expect to overcome daily stressors, interpersonal relationship issues, and learn skills to best cope with short-term or ongoing mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ODD, Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. She uses a variety of tools based on client needs, including motivational interviewing, active listening, family systems therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Modalities she draws from include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Non-Suicidal Self-Injury Recovery, Restorative Justice, Trauma Informed Care, LGBTQ counseling, Expressive Therapy, SMART Recovery, and RENEW (Rehabilitation, Empowerment, Natural Supports, Education and Work).
With a Master's degree in Social Work, Anne has experience working with people of all ages in community mental health, school, inpatient, and medical settings. She's also a gymnastics coach and champions overall health and well-being.
