About Anne Shaul, LCSW

Anne offers you a warm, trusting, empathic, and nurturing space where you can receive mental health support. She understands it takes an enormous amount of courage and energy to reach out for help. She'll guide you to move toward a deeper level of conscious understanding about the emotional and behavioral symptoms you're experiencing that leave you feeling "stuck." She'll help you achieve the outcomes you want so you can live your best life.

Anne can assist people with many challenges, including depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD, and attachment, relational, mood and adjustment disorders. She works with individuals, couples, families and parents of infants. She draws from a humanistic perspective, prioritizing a safe, nurturing environment with consistent use of empathic and validating responses which enhance a trusting and genuine relationship with her clients. Anne uses assessments to help with evaluation and diagnosis, and then develops practical treatment plans with her clients using strengths-based goals and objectives. She uses theoretical modalities such CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and CPP.

With a Master's degree in both Early Childhood Development and Special Education from Columbia University, as well as a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver, Anne has practiced as a licensed clinician in the Denver area for 25 years.

Born and raised in the New York Metro area, Anne now lives in the foothills of Boulder County with her family where they take advantage of the outdoor life. She's an avid reader, loves to laugh with others, and will always take recommendations for binge-worthy comedies.
