Ashley is passionate about supporting you on your journey of self-discovery, helping you in uncovering underlying causes, and guiding you to the life you’re hoping for. Through a process of developing self-awareness, emotion regulation skills, and enhancing strengths within, you’ll experience deep healing and lasting recovery. Some of the counseling modalities that Ashley incorporates are Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Mindfulness Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Ashley is originally from Chicago, Illinois receiving her bachelors in Family and Child Studies with an emphasis in social work. Ashley later received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University in Illinois. Ashley has 9 years of experience working within various levels of co-occurring treatment settings: supporting individuals with major life transitions; helping heal stress, shame/guilt, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, substance use, other addictive behaviors, and trauma. Ashley followed her desire to move to the mountains a couple years ago, receiving specialty education to pursue her LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor) and EMDR training.
