Blake believes each person’s life is a story. “This adventure called life is filled with excitement, pain, joy, and disappointment,” he explains. “It’s all wrapped up together in a complex, multi-layered tangle. Making sense of it all is tough work to be sure, however, it’s in this deep work–this engaging of your story–that true, lasting change occurs.” He feels it is an honor and privilege to sit with you during your growth process, and is here to help you understand the ways in which your story has shaped you. Believing the things that create challenges in your life are multi-layered and complex, Blake invites you into “…a warm and safe space where we’ll explore your past experiences and relationships to better understand the patterns and plots that make up your story. In doing so we’ll learn about who you are and what makes you feel alive, so you can choose how to be present and live meaningfully. I’ll help you understand your experiences and then we’ll work to create a new, life-affirming narrative that’ll transform your story.” Blake received his Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. He’s located in our Loveland office.
