You’ll appreciate the empathy and humor which will be infused into your time with Brandy. You’ll be empowered to make positive changes in your life.
Brandy’s clients can work to overcome difficulties in their life related to depression, anxiety, stress, conflict, anger, self-esteem, and much more. They can expect to learn skills that will help improve communication with loved ones, improve the way they think about themselves and life’s challenges, and work to improve their overall quality of life.
Brandy uses active listening and empathy to connect with her clients, and gives them options to learn skills through games and activities, in addition to talk therapy. Her primary therapeutic modality is person centered, allowing each client to guide their therapy process. CBT, DBT, and solution-focused modalities also may be included.
With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Brandy has experience providing individual and group therapy with adolescents and families in a community mental health setting. She’s also LGBTQ+ affirming.
