Catie can help her clients explore, confront, and overcome whatever is creating difficulty in their lives. She works with children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of trauma, self-esteem, bipolar and mood disorders, adjustment, anxiety, and relationship and attachment issues. She utilizes active listening, genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and a variety of therapeutic tools based on each client’s needs. Catie is a person-centered therapist and adopts an eclectic approach utilizing a variety of modalities, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and play therapy techniques. She’s also trained in CPT and TF-CBT.
Catie received a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York, N.Y., with a dual concentration in Clinical Social Work Practice and Community-Based Leadership. She has extensive experience working with at-risk youth and families, as well as experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, military families, and as a special education school social worker.
