Cathleen invites you into a warm and empowering space that supports inclusivity, flexibility, and collaboration. Together with Cathleen you’ll explore the present and past to discover the messages behind your feelings, behaviors, and beliefs and challenge them. You’ll be encouraged to make changes that move you to a place of self-acceptance where you can create a life that you’re passionate about and fulfilled by.
Depression, trauma, anxiety, and addiction are just a few of the barriers Cathleen’s clients can learn to overcome. Using trauma-informed care, she can help clients learn strategies for coping, increase understanding of their patterns and emotions, and reshape maladaptive behaviors or beliefs to achieve their goals.
While Cathleen works with clients to find a modality that fits each individual’s needs, she primarily practices from client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems approaches, as well as EMDR therapy.
With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University, Cathleen has diverse experience from working in a variety of settings including community mental health, inpatient acute care, and intensive outpatient programs.
Originally from South Carolina, Cathleen enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, connecting with others, reading, and all things outdoors.
