Cezar is a genuine, compassionate and intuitive therapist. As a veteran, a husband, a father, an immigrant, a lover of nature, sports and animals, Cezar’s life experience helps him to relate to a variety of clients while holding empathy and attunement. Cezar helps clients create a safe space (both internally and externally), explore and shift mental processes, and commit to self-acceptance. Through this lens, Cezar assists clients discovering old and maladaptive narrative patterns: This allows for reassessing and reassigning outdated modes of thinking, and introducing thoughts that are in alignment with ones higher potential. Cezar works with clients to clarify personal, professional, health, intimacy, and various psycho-social goals in one’s life. Exploration of shadow work — and moving toward an increased conscious capacity and tolerance to hold the space for both light and shadow — are achieved through strengthening the connection with one’s own identity, self-worth and empowerment. Cezar’s therapeutic tools range from a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered approach, Gestalt, Visualization techniques, and Jungian studies / Depth psychology. Cezar was born in Bucharest, Romania and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1987 with his parents due to an unstable political climate in Eastern Europe. Cezar served in the United States Air Force for ten years. Cezar’s childhood vacations on the farm and being around horses sustained and amplified the process of self-discovery which continued in adult life through activities in nature, sports, poetry, mythology, and meditation. Cezar received a Master’s degree from University of Santa Monica with an emphasis in Spiritual / Applied Psychology and a Master’s degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute with emphasis in Depth Psychology. Cezar has seven years of clinical expertise, and a wide array of experience which has helped to facilitate a greater capacity toward compassion, discovery, and empowerment. Cezar has worked in the field as a mental health crisis therapist completing supportive counseling, crisis interventions, and psychiatric evaluations. Additionally, Cezar has worked as an outpatient therapist, as well as a hospital behavioral health triage worker conducting case management, social work and substance / psychiatric assessments. Cezar has routinely worked with all age groups, and provides individual therapy for adolescent and adult clients. Cezar has provided support for individuals experiencing depression, suicidal ideations, trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, attention deficit, hypomania, mania, intrusive thoughts, paranoia, delusions, psychosis, self-harm, partnership distress, intimacy issues, co-occurring substance issues, health and stress related disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, symptoms associated with head injuries, immigration stressors, and challenges specific to veterans.
