You'll feel heard, supported and cared for in sessions with Christina. She'll provide you with a safe and comfortable environment to feel at ease. Understanding how much courage it takes to participate in therapy, she'll welcome you with an open-mind and empathy.
Christina provides treatment tailored to each client's preferences and goals. She helps individuals address a wide variety of life stressors, including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges and substance abuse. Christina actively listens and makes connections in behavioral patterns to inform clinical growth. She utilizes several evidence-based practices, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR and person-centered approaches—all to help her clients develop self-awareness, distress tolerance skills and a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives.
With a graduate degree from the University of Denver, Christina has worked for mental health agencies throughout Colorado for over ten years. She has provided therapy to individuals from all walks of life, as well as supervision to clinicians.
Post graduate school, Christina additionally completed the course work and licensure requirements to become dually licensed as an addictions counselor. She has advanced training in EMDR, as well as exposure therapy for anxiety disorders.
