Darlyn wants to help you identify your values, goals, resiliency, and empowerment. She’ll model mindfulness and practice with intension as she assists you on your journey of self-discovery and wellness. She’ll treat you with “integrated connectivity,” a term she’s coined to describe her own practice philosophy. “We are often disconnected in our current society and I feel that incorporating the development of meaningful connections for an individual should be a key part of my practice.”
Darlyn’s approach to care is integrated, person-centered and team-based. She focuses on the whole person and all the different influences that impact our lives.
With a PMHNP degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Darlyn is passionate about mental health care and in helping to fill the gap in psychiatric services available to people, especially in the rural Colorado mountains where she lives. She’s been active in the nursing profession for over 32 years in various healthcare settings, including women’s health, home care and hospice, inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use, public health, health coaching, and others. She considers the work she does as a calling and an opportunity to apply Florence Nightingale’s art of caring in practice.
Born and raised in Montana, Darlyn’s lived in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado since 1987. She currently lives in Teller County and has two grown sons. The mountains and flowing streams her healing space.
