Teri believes it takes a lot of guts, fortitude, courage and strength to ask for help, and is honored to work with you at a time when you're struggling. She'll welcome you into a safe and comfortable space to discuss whatever is important to you. She'll listen with empathy and understanding, knowing it's not easy to talk about painful feelings or the areas of your life where you feel you've fallen short. At the end of your journey working with Teri, you'll be able to move forward to live your life more fully.
Her training in both psychology and social work are incorporated into the therapy Teri provides. And because each individual is unique, she tailors treatment to meet each client’s specific goals. She uses Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the framework, and adds other treatment methods as needed.
Teri received her Master's in Social Work nearly 30 years ago and her Doctorate in Professional Psychology in 2002. She's worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, schools, universities, EAP’s, and private practice.
