About Elise Salas, LCSW

Elise Salas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado who has been practicing since 2014. She obtained her Master’s degree in social work from San Diego State University, and also holds a Bachelor of psychology from the University of Hawaii. She has more than 9 years of experience working in adult mental health programs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Elise is experienced in providing services to a wide range of behavioral health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, grief and loss, psychosis, and post-partum anxiety/depression. Her training includes motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Elise approaches a therapeutic relationship with compassion and understanding, while also taking an active and collaborative approach. She strives to build on one's strengths to promote resiliency, wellness, and recovery. In her spare time, Elise enjoys running, hiking, spending time with her family/friends, and attending comedy shows.
