When you're in session with Glenn, you'll feel heard and at ease in a safe and non-judgmental space. Glenn will strive to build a strong therapeutic bond with you, using humor to cope and heal, and listening to understand. He'll help you rationally analyze specific life events and experiences to deconstruct thought processes that aren't serving you well.
Glenn's clients will have the opportunity to work to overcome both specific and generalized anxieties, such as Social Anxiety Disorder; uncertainty about the future; core beliefs, such as feelings of unworthiness or being unlovable; addiction struggles in any form; and relationship issues, be they romantic, platonic, or familial.
Active listening, reflecting, validating, and affirming are all techniques Glenn uses in session. He also offers coping skills, such as breathing exercises, and value exploration through Value Card Sorts. Glenn subscribes to person-centered modalities, like CBT, Motivational Interviewing and REBT. He'll use the best combination that is the most therapeutic for each client.
With a Master's degree in Counseling/Psychology from the University of Denver, Glenn has in-patient and out-patient care experience working with homeless men suffering from addiction, with people who have disordered eating, and with veterans.
