When you meet Hali in her counseling office, you’ll arrive at a place with a non-judgmental atmosphere, a space filled with compassion and understanding. In this collaborative, safe environment, Hali will guide you to finding your best life: She’ll help you discover the techniques and strategies that’ll empower you to reach your aspirations and goals. Hali believes you’re the author of your unfolding story, and understands that, sometimes, everyone need a little guidance along the way. Hali’s counseling style is a rich blend of some of the field’s most empowering approaches to healing: Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), client-centered therapy and attachment theory. Hali enjoys working with individuals ages 15 years old and up, as well as supporting both couples and groups. Hali received a degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2011 and has been working in the counseling field ever since. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and holds counseling licenses in both Colorado and Wyoming as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Hali began her career working in a community mental health center. While working there, she led intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse groups, received training in emotionally focused therapy, provided evaluations for suicide risk and substance abuse, and collaborated with local community organizations to help provide her clients with the best treatment possible. Hali has a love of learning and she continued her education to earn another master’s degree in Environmental Health with an emphasis in Ergonomics from Colorado State University.
