When you meet with Jackie, you'll feel at ease and comfortable in her warm and caring presence. She'll offer you an alternative perspective about the challenges you're facing. Together you'll develop goals to deal with those challenges and work toward meeting them. Along the way, you'll discover your inherent strengths that will help you achieve your desired outcomes.
Jackie assists clients to overcome life struggles, such as anxiety, depression, stress-based problems, and past traumatic experiences. She uses active listening, reflection, and reframing to empower clients to take charge of their healing. Therapeutic techniques she may employ include solution-focused, Brief Strategic, relationally focused, intersectional, and TF-CBT.
With a Master's of Social Work degree from Indiana University, Jackie has worked in school-based and community mental health settings with youth and family, and in crisis intervention programs.
