Jacquelyn understands how scary it can feel to begin therapy, and values your courage in reaching out for care. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted in a supportive, warm and nurturing environment, one that will continue throughout the therapy process. Jacquelyn believes in you and in your innate, inner strengths. Throughout the therapy process, you’ll grow in your awareness of yourself, your strengths, and your ability to heal. Using a client-centered approach, Jacquelyn will help overcome your struggles, and along the journey you’ll heal from stressful and traumatic experiences both from the past and present. Jacquelyn incorporates a variety of different tools throughout the therapy process to help you succeed, including several different evidenced based modalities: EMDR, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, Yoga and CBT. Combined, these create a supportive and holistic approach in therapy. Jacquelyn holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Counseling with over 8 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children. She’s worked in a variety of different settings including long term inpatient, outpatient and school-based environments. She currently holds her professional license (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
