Jamie’s experience in the mental health field includes helping clients address trauma, addiction, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, psychosis, bipolar disorders, sexual trauma, paraphilic disorders autism, body dysmorphia, sexual addiction, personality disorders, neurocognitive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, gender dysphoria, impulse control and conduct disorders dissociative disorders, and many other concerns. She offers clients a place to grow interpersonally within themselves and within family or intimate partner relationships.
Jamie utilizes multiple skills, techniques, and tools, including active listening, empathy, and collaboration through the therapeutic relationship. The modalities she most often draws from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Experiential, Emotionally Focused, and Narrative Therapy.
With a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, Jamie has worked with adolescents, adults, individuals with developmental disabilities, and individuals involved in the corrections system. She’s experienced in group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and couples work.
