You will feel welcomed and heard when you meet with Jeff—like you’re sitting with a friend who won’t judge you and gets that everyone has their challenges. He understands that asking for help isn’t easy, and will honor you for showing up and exploring the reasons you’re experiencing certain thoughts, feelings, perceptions, relationship dynamics—whatever is keeping you from being your best self. Through techniques like active/reflective listening, grounding, and resource development, Jeff will help you realize and focus on the strengths and abilities you already possess, and encourage and empower you to take the steps necessary to make changes in your life. He will use a combination of modalities to help you meet your goals, such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and IFS. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Jeff has worked in a group home for teenage boys with developmental disabilities, with LGBTQ teenagers, and as a co-occurring therapist for in a community mental health center. He thoroughly enjoys helping people and looks forward to meeting you.
