About Jennifer West, LMFT

Jennifer provides a genuine, empathetic, safe place for you to work on your own healing and reclaim your life. Jennifer is passionate about helping people from all walks of life including adolescents, families, and adults who are ready to make real changes in their lives and move past their pain. Whether you’ve experienced trauma, family conflict, anxiety/depression, sexual issues, grief/loss, or suicidality, Jennifer will work collaboratively with you to find the best approach. Jennifer uses a blend of evidence-based treatments including EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in the field for over 10 years. Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings with adolescents, families, and adults. Jennifer was previously the Clinical Director at a female adolescent facility within the Department of Youth Services, has worked as a Diversion Counselor at the 18th Judicial District, and has been a therapist in several other residential facilities. Jennifer is also an Offense Specific therapist, who has provided SOMB therapy to court ordered juveniles in the past. Through her experiences, Jennifer has seen the restorative power of therapy and overcoming one’s past trauma in transforming lives.
