Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescent (Ages 2+), Adult
When Jessica greets you, your child and other family members, she’ll do so with warmth, compassion, and a listening heart that is free from judgement. She knows that when your child is struggling, things can feel confusing and overwhelming; her goal is to provide support and encouragement to guide your child through whatever challenge they’re facing, helping them get in touch with their authentic selves, and find the way to a healthy mental and physical state. Jessica has over 12 years of experience working with children and teens as they navigate the challenges of growing up. From anxiety and depression to ADHD, behavioral challenges, bullying and traumatic events (and sadly, more), Jessica commits to viewing each situation with a curious and compassionate mindset. She works collaboratively with you and your children to help change behaviors and understand the reasons behind them. Her client-centered therapy integrates a mix of modalities and approaches, including Synergetic Play Therapy to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jessica knows that every client is unique and doesn’t take a “one size fits all” approach to your healing. Jessica received her Bachelor’s degree from Bradford College in Haverhill, Mass., and her Master’s in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colo. Originally from New Hampshire, Jessica has proudly called Colorado home for the past 16 years. When not working, she’s outdoors with her husband and son, and is an avid runner who loves volunteering for run-focused charities. Most recently, Jessica became a Colfax Marathon Ambassador. She recovers from long runs with tacos and cookies.
