She’ll help you discover your fullest potential which is already inside of you, and empower you to live an authentic and fulfilling life.
Jessica specializes in treating trauma throughout the lifespan. She’s experienced in treating many other mental health concerns as well, such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and mood disorders. Along with medication management, she utilizes therapeutic communication, active listening, and motivational interviewing to devise a care plan uniquely crafted to each patient’s needs. Jessica also uses trauma informed and patient centered care to best communicate with her clients.
With almost 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, Jessica has accumulated a strong foundation in areas such as intensive care, surgery, and hospice. Her career in the psychiatric field began in 2015 in drug and alcohol treatment centers. She then worked for two years on an acute inpatient pediatric behavioral health unit, where she found her passion in pediatric psychiatry. In 2018, she enrolled at Colorado State University Pueblo to receive her master’s degree in nursing (MSN) and is now a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
In her personal life, Jessica loves the outdoors, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog, Sophie. She has two beautiful, empowered adult children. She also enjoys volunteering as a boxing and art instructor at a local non-profit which provides a supportive, sober community for adults suffering from substance use disorder.
