Jordyn knows that asking for help can be intimidating, and that you may feel anxious, unsure, and vulnerable when first beginning the therapy process. That’s why she will offer you a comfortable, calm space to feel heard and supported. She’ll share her sense of humor when appropriate to help ease any tension you feel. She’ll partner with you as you work through whatever life has thrown your way.
Jordyn can help adolescents and adults to overcome anxiety, depression, insecurities, grief, relationship issues, and much more. She empowers them by using psychoeducation to help them discover the coping skills they already possess, and learn new ones to add to their toolbox. She also uses active listening, reflection, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness practices, person-centered therapy, and relationally focused integrative therapies to help clients accomplish their goals.
Jordyn earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University and a Master's degree in Social Work with a certificate in Trauma Informed Care from the University of Tennessee-Nashville. Her experience includes home-based Autism interventions, in-home family therapy, and trauma-focused individual therapy. She’s also worked in residential treatment, psychiatric hospitals and school settings in California, Tennessee, and here in Colorado.
