When you meet with Julie, you’ll feel her caring presence and empathy in a safe space. You’ll appreciate her sense of humor when appropriate. You’ll be encouraged to share her sense of curiosity about your state of well-being and to use what you discover to move toward healing.
Julie can help her clients address relational, marital, and pre-marital issues, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, perfectionistic tendencies, and more. She uses techniques like active listening, and supportive questioning, and draws from person-centered modalities such as CBT, Mindfulness CBT, and EFT.
Julie is a licensed in Marriage and Family Therapist. She has extensive experience, including serving as the clinical director at an inpatient treatment facility for adolescent girls who were juvenile justice involved, and as the Professional Psychology Clinic interim clinical director at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
