When meeting Kate, you’ll be greeted with warmth and authenticity. Kate will welcome you where you are, just as you are. She’s hopeful that this therapeutic relationship will be the foundation for your future success: To bring that hope to life, she’ll bring her empathy, non-judgement, collaboration, directed-ness, and humor. She’ll encourage creative outlets and help you discover the best ways to heal emotions, thoughts, and even body. Kate works with individuals, families, adolescents, and children. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, child behavioral concerns, grief, relationship issues, daily life stressors, or something all together different, Kate will work alongside you to find the right combination of supports that bring about the changes and healing you most desire. Throughout the past ten years working in the field of mental health, Kate has been passionately following the research. By combining the best the research has to offer with her own personal experience (and her past client reports), Kate will help you gain full knowledge of all the ways to create internal growth. Using a holistic approach, combined with evidence-based interventions, Kate assists you in implementing internal tools that promote both self-awareness and an experience of peace. Some of these tools include: understanding the power of thoughts, EMDR, grounding techniques, meditation, movement, and play therapy. Kate’s looking forward to working alongside you.
