Keaton’s clients can overcome challenges with addiction, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, spirituality, and other life struggles. She can help clients learn important skills like regulating difficult emotions, assertive communication techniques, compassionate introspection, and expressive ways. She takes an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy, integrating meditation, nature, CBT, motivational enhancement, trauma-sensitive, and somatic-oriented techniques. She also has developed various mindfulness-based approaches to help clients find their way back to the present moment, and navigate challenging emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
With a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and a concentration in Addiction Counseling, Keaton has experience providing counseling for adults in recovery from addiction, trauma, and various mental health challenges. She’s also worked in wilderness therapy, is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and is passionate about helping clients find meaning in the daily moments of their lives.
