Kelsey uses a person-centered approach. She believes that developing a nurturing and trusting relationship with you, her client, is of the utmost importance. She incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as tools to help you learn healthy coping and life-affirming skills. Kelsey has worked in a variety of settings including wilderness therapy, adventure therapy, an in-patient psychiatric setting, as well as multiple residential facilities. Kelsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Missouri, and later her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. She has experience working with teens, families, as well as adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss and relational conflict. She uses a strength-based, holistic and collaborative approach to assist you in creating a plan suites your specific needs.
