When you meet with Kimberly, you’ll feel at ease by her calm, caring, and empathetic presence. You’ll appreciate her non-judgmental approach and humor which will help you feel at ease.
Kimberly can help clients to overcome the challenges they face that prevent them from functioning at the level they once did and feeling satisfied with their life. Some of these challenges include anxiety, depression, trauma, environmental stressors, such as work or relationships, and many more. She uses active listening to ensure she’s meeting clients where they are. She teaches tools to empower clients to make positive changes, face the things in their past that might be preventing them from moving forward, and challenge their negative thoughts about themselves and the world. Kimberly also uses a person-centered approach to allow clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Additionally, she employs a variety of techniques, like EMDR, DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and experiential therapy.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, Kimberly has worked in various positions—from a Mental Health Specialist to a Residential Therapist to Director of Outpatient Services. Out of all of the positions she’s held, she’s most passionate about doing individual therapy, as she feels honored to hold space for a client as they navigate their journey to healing.
