When meeting with Kyla, you’ll experience an environment focused on respect, empathy, and understanding. Kyla utilizes humor and acceptance to create a warm and safe environment to discuss your current challenges, both as an individual a couple or a family. She wants you to feel heard and validated in your experiences. She wants to help you reach your therapeutic goals.
Kyla uses her knowledge of relationships and patterns to work alongside her clients. She provides an open space for clients to overcome relationship difficulties, general stress, trauma, and many other issues. Kyla strives to build a positive relationship with her clients through listening, reflection, and acceptance. Kyla utilizes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, and interventions from Gottman couple’s therapy.
With a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University, Kyla has experience working with the veteran population, as well as adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, she enjoys working with couples to build a more positive relationship, focusing on meeting the needs of both partners.
