Provider type: Therapist
Serving: Adolescent (Ages 10+), Adult
When you first meet Laura, you’ll notice her calm, caring presence. She understands how difficult making this first step into therapy can be, so she’ll welcome you with unconditional positive regard. Throughout your unique healing journey, Laura will help you rediscover and reclaim your own natural skills and strengths. She’ll then guide you in using these to you grow and live the life you’ve always wanted. And if you like humor, you’ll enjoy Laura’s way of incorporating that into therapy when it feels appropriate to do so. She feels that laughter can be food for the soul. Laura will take time to get to know you, and then will find an approach to your work together that you both feel fits well. She’ll borrow from some of the best counseling methods out there, such as person-centered therapy and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Laura graduated in 2016 with a Master’s in counseling from the University of Great Falls in Montana, and has experience working in a community mental health setting.
