Laurel creates a safe, inclusive and caring environment for each person that enters her office. She understands that it takes a great deal of courage for you to begin a therapeutic relationship, and she works hard to make sure that you feel heard and comfortable. Laurel believes that you have the potential to feel more content, and believes that through the therapeutic relationship you can express your needs, feelings, pains and wants, and find your way to a better life. Laurel understands that therapy is a collaborate process and will work with you every step of the way. Laurel will truly listen to you, get to know you and – using a strength-based approach – create a healing plan that fits your needs. Laurel understands that life is a journey and would love to help you, with kindness and compassion, through the difficult parts. Laurel graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Laurel has experience working with people struggling with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ clients, teenagers, school difficulties and much more. She has worked with people of all ages.
