Lydia’s clients can overcome issues related to life adjustment/transitions, past trauma, mood, depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, self-esteem, eating concerns, body image, gender identity, sexual identity, anger management, relationship/intimacy, alcohol/drug dependency, grief/loss, and divorce/separation. She takes an integrative holistic and person-centered therapeutic approach to therapy. She provides interventions from many modalities, including EMDR, Attachment-Based Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
With a Master’s of Education in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Lydia has worked in forensic/criminal justice and recovery-based treatment settings.
