When you meet with Maggie, you'll be welcomed into a safe space where there's no judgement. You'll feel comfortable to be honest with yourself, validated, and encouraged to set aside defenses. Working with Maggie, you'll help make choices about how to overcome the challenges you're facing. She believes we all heal through authentic connection and will model a safe and growth-enhancing relationship. At the end of your work together, you'll feel like you've truly been seen and heard, and are on a healing path.
Maggie works with adolescent and adult individuals, groups, and couples, on a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, trauma, abuse, and sexual assault. She uses a combination of interventions based on an individual's needs, like CBT, art and creative therapies, experiential therapies, mindfulness visualizations, confrontation, empowerment, family dynamics, and interpersonal processing.
Maggie earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University.
